LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks a Medical Coder for a Phoenix based organization. In this role, you'll translate patient medical records into ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes, ensuring accurate billing processes for patients and insurers.s a Medical Coder, you will play a crucial role in transcribing and translating details from a patient's medical records into medical codes such as ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.Your position will be crucial in the revenue cycle, ensuring precision in billing processes for both patients and insurance companies.


Responsibilities:



  • Accurately assign and sequence codes in compliance with government and insurance regulations.


  • Review claims and configurations to ensure adherence to coding guidelines and best practices.


  • Verify and correct billable services' accuracy by examining patient charts, claims, and policies as necessary.


  • Propose and execute strategic protocols for coding review and modifications.


Qualifications Needed:



  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.


  • Certification in medical coding and billing is required.


  • 5+ years of experience in a coding and billing position preferred.


  • Demonstrated knowledge of NextGen or similar EHR.


  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft suite, especially Excel functions and tools.


Location: Phoenix AZ


Hybrid Role - 2 days in office/3days WFH
