LHH is seeking a direct hire Property Manager with 5+ years commercial real estate experience. CA real estate license highly preferred.


Experience budgeting and handling large scale projects required.


Experience working with retail a plus.


This is an on site role in Norwalk, CA with visits to local Norwalk properties and to a property in Northridge as needed.


Pay up to $100,000/year.


BA degree preferred.


Our Property Managers spend no time on rent collection, and less time on accounting, but much more time in understanding what makes our neighborhoods work and helps to ensure our centers hold a special place in our customers’ hearts.



Essential Job Functions



Supervise day-to-day property management operations by monitoring activities via monthly open items lists ensure alignment with the asset's business plan and financial goals to enhance operational, leasing and marketing effectiveness.



Prepare the annual operating and capital expenditures budget and provide monthly variance reporting.



Perform property inspections on a regular basis and make recommendations to maintain and enhance the asset.



Maintain relationships with tenants, vendors, and owners to ensure satisfaction and to promote solid, reliable relationships to resolve issues and foster strong community connections.



Attend merchant meetings and marketing events and collaborate closely with Marketing Directors.



Support leasing efforts, including showing spaces to prospective tenants and managing signage. The property manager should be familiar with the provisions of NNN lease.



Evaluate service contract requirements, oversee tenant improvements, prepare job specifications, obtain/evaluate bids, negotiate and manage vendor contracts and monitor vendor performance through regular inspection.



Utilize our proprietary property management portal to track and enhance property performance.



Maintain robust relationships with tenants, vendors, and community members, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.



Ensure all property activities comply with legal, regulatory, and environmental standards.



Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed by phone or in person based on their severity.


Requirements / Personal Characteristics



Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience with at least 5 years in Retail Property Management.



Exceptional focus on client service; highly responsive to the needs of tenants and the community.



Ability to think creatively to produce extraordinary outcomes.



Possesses high integrity and a strong work ethic.



Eager for professional development opportunities.



Strong team and people skills.



Highly organized with proficient time management.



Effective communicator both in writing and verbally.



Advanced skills in using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and a strong interest in property technology.


Preferably hold a California Real Estate Salesperson license.
