Our client is a global leader in solutions and services across the packaging lifecycle, providing packaging worldwide to companies in industries such as food, personal care, paints, and chemicals.
Responsibilities:
Provides day-to-day employee relations and performance counseling.
Ensures fair and consistent administration of all human resources policies and practices.
Addresses and resolves employee concerns or issues within the supported location(s).
Facilitates strong communication of employee programs to enhance engagement and morale.
Implements human resources and employee relations programs.
Partners with management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations.
Manages payroll processing, time and attendance recording, paid time off benefits, and company compensation and benefits programs.
Delivers and coordinates training programs.
Maintains compliance with federal and state employment regulations and HR policies.
Conducts new hire orientation and other onboarding activities.
Maintains accurate HRIS records and prepares necessary reports.
Conducts recruitment activities including posting open positions, reviewing resumes, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews.
Participates in investigating employee-related issues and concerns.
Performs other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment.
PHR/SPHR certification is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to exhibit leadership behaviors consistently and partner effectively with business leaders.
Knowledge of Federal and State laws pertaining to human resources administration.
Strong conflict resolution skills.
Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up abilities.
Willingness and ability to travel as required.
Bilingual in Spanish.
