Platform Engineering Manager
LHH is partnering with a leading SaaS based company who is seeking an experienced, Platform Engineering Manager to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise overseeing AWS cloud infrastructures and managing small to mid-sized teams.
Job Duties:
Manage and contribute to the Platform Engineering team that is overseeing the AWS cloud infrastructure for the organization
Leading the capacity of success within the efforts of Infrastructure as Code and Site Reliability Engineering
Work directly with Senior Management and Stakeholders to contribute in the strategic planning/execution for platform growth and sustainability
Leading multiple technical projects cross functionally with different teams within the organization
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Related Field
8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering within a high availability cloud environment
3+ years of experience working in a Manager and/or Team Lead position overseeing, mentoring and training junior level colleagues
6+ years of experience utilizing Infrastructure as Code tools within a highly available AWS cloud environment
Excellent communication skills to ensure efficiency and collaboration within the team
8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering/SRE using AWS infrastructures
