Responsibilities:
Collect all necessary information to create and submit claims.
Verify patient insurance coverage, including eligibility, benefits, and pre-authorization requirements.
Review medical records for accurate coding and documentation.
Monitor claim status and follow up on processing and payment.
Investigate claim denials, identify reasons, and take appropriate actions for appeal or resubmission.
Qualifications:
2 years of medical billing/coding experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency in Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and Healthcare Common Procedure Coding (HCPCS) codes.
Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA Guidelines.
Location: Onsite in Phoenix
